For The Future

Champion a Commitment for Sustainable Growth

Clover’s growing fast, and Council needs to make sure that growth enhances our community instead of changing it. I plan to lead an effort to aid the Council in understanding the process and value of responsible, long-term planning. That includes encouraging thoughtful infill and mixed-use development that supports workforce housing, while ensuring new buildings meet real architectural standards that reflect Clover’s charm.

Some of the known areas which the community supports include: rehabilitating and upgrading our community parks, baselining / modeling / understanding our utility infrastructure strengths and challenges, supporting infill development, reusing existing spaces creatively, and protecting the small-town feel that makes Clover special.

By encouraging mixed-use zoning and strengthening downtown as a hub for commerce, culture, and connection, we can grow in a way that keeps Clover uniquely ours.

Growth Mindset

Main Street & Local Business Revitalization

Main Street is the heart of Clover — and it should stay that way. I want Clover to be a place where people from across York County come to build their businesses, work, and invest in the heart of our town, which in turn will help our local businesses thrive, grow and reinvest in our community.

That means finding ways to support our local business owners, revitalizing existing storefronts, and creating opportunities for new entrepreneurs to call Clover home. Growth starts with helping our current businesses thrive.

We want to make Clover a truly business-friendly town — welcoming new opportunities while investing in our local workforce so the next generation can afford to live, work, and build their future here.

Accountability

Community Engagement in Planning

Good planning begins with listening. I’m not coming in with preconceived ideas — I know how to plan and execute, but I’m here to listen and represent you in developing our community's vision for the future.

Too often, our turnout at council meetings is low — and that means fewer voices shaping Clover’s direction. I want to change that by making it easier and more inviting for residents to get involved, stay informed, and share their ideas for the town’s future.

The people of Clover deserve a real seat at the table, and I’ll work to create open, transparent conversations that ensure your input directly informs every step of the planning process.

Preparation

Strategic Planning

As an engineer, I understand that great communities are built with clarity and structure. I want to help the council take a practical, step-by-step approach that focuses on what matters most to Clover’s families and businesses — starting with:

  • Define where we are today, including our capital and operational strengths & limitations,

  • Establish where we want to be, and

  • Create a clear, actionable plan to get there — with sustainable funding and creative revenue solutions.

Having managed projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars, I’ve seen firsthand how careful planning can multiply the impact of every dollar.

If given the opportunity, I’ll bring that same experience to Clover — investing in the things that matter most, like our water infrastructure, our business sector, and the long-term stability of our community.

This isn’t about politics — it’s about practical progress for the people of Clover.
